Venture Capital

What is venture capital?

Venture Capital is high-risk capital, invested by sophisticated VC funds, into start-up and early stage businesses that: (i) offer a product or service that could address a potentially large market, and (ii) have management with a skill set to create a viable business model and scale the business. Venture Capital is issued in stages, called series (i.e. "Seed," "Series A," "Series B," etcetera).

Venture Capital investments are highly competitive, which means structuring your company, your pitch materials and early stage investment contracts is exceedingly important.
