Sandra K. "Sandy" McGlothlin, Esq.
Sandra McGlothlin, Dean Emerita of the Appalachian School of Law, is a native of Grundy, Virginia. She has years of experience as a legal educator and extensive law practice experience spanning more than three decades. She first practiced as an associate with a Grundy based law firm before forming her own firm. She also has served as a member or officer of numerous community, regional, and state organizations, including the Board of Trustees of the Appalachian School of Law; Virginia Coalfield Regional Tourism Development Authority; President of the Buchanan County Bar Association; Buchanan County YMCA; John Flannagan Water Authority; elected member of the Town Council of Grundy, Virginia; Vice Mayor of Grundy; and member of the Town of Grundy Industrial Development Authority.
